Michael Storey
A vivid imagination, a lifelong affair with wildlife and a wellspring of innovation are the amalgam behind the work of this artist.
His recognisable style, often combined with hand blown glass, has given Michael an international following. Three foundries worldwide are dedicated to producing his work.
Michael was born in England in 1948. He moved to New Zealand with his family, and then after finishing school, settled in Australia. Always self-employed, and always on the fringe of art, he turned full time to sculpture with bronze in 1981.
Extensively represented throughout the USA, the UK and Australia, Michael is currently based at his foundry in Somerset, England. His clients include Federal Heads of State, the British Royal Family, corporate and private collectors.
